A magnificent hybrid of a sleek Australian Shepherd and a legendary, high-flying Mountain Falcon, Echo is built for agility and speed. His coat is a striking pattern of sky-blue, slate grey, and crisp white, with unique, wing-like feathering along his legs and tail that catches the wind. He is a creature of the open air and high altitudes, bringing a sense of limitless freedom and sharp-eyed vigilance to the Avatar's journey.

Echo’s defining trait is his incredible sensory connection to the atmosphere and the element of air. His oversized, expressive ears can detect the slightest change in barometric pressure, the distant rumble of an oncoming storm, or the faint rustle of a stealthy enemy miles away. He acts as an early-warning radar system for the Avatar, able to sense incoming elemental attacks long before they are visible. When the Avatar utilizes Airbending, Echo is in his absolute element, playfully diving through air currents and riding the drafts created by his companion.

Though he cannot bend the elements himself, Echo manipulates sound waves and wind resistance with astonishing natural talent. By barking or howling at specific frequencies, he can create localized sonic vibrations that shatter incoming projectiles, disorient attackers, and even clear paths through thick smoke or debris.
